    I got a picture of this handsome fellow from my car window using the Blubb with 5D II and 500 f4 with 1.4TC.

    Hi Wayne Good capture, little guys are difficult.

    From the car you could not do much moving around but sun angle is a bit off, might try quick mask in PS to lighten that area. Do like the pose and setting and would go tighter on the crop. I think you are trying to show the thorns in without cutting but would rater see the bird larger in frame.

    I like the capture...the subject is too small in frame...good advise given by Mr. Forns...looking forward to your next one...:cool:

    While doing a smaller crop I'd eliminate the stuff at the ULC. Your BG is primarily very nice and that corner really pollutes the rest of it. Small birds ARE difficult but I think you did the best you could here. Learn from what Al suggested and try again!
