    One of my all time favorites and thanks to JudyLynn for spotting it and to my camera for being able to record it. Taken at the Wakohadchee Wetlands the other morning with a Canon 40-D and a 100-400-L.
    ISO = 400 at f/5.6 1/1000th. of a sec. 0-Ec. and a full 400-MM.

    Thanks to Judy for spotting it and thanks to all who visit and comment. Sorry for the spot in the LLC I saw it to late.

    I like the banking pose and eye contact and would sharpen the bird more. It might also work as vertical crop.

    Lovely angle of flight, and these guys have lovely red eyes. Well captured Bill.

    Love the pose and wings. The image looks out of focus IMO, let's hope adding extra sharpening will fix that.

    Great timing Bill to catch this one in flight and excellent eye contact. Really like the flight pose and that we are able to view the topside. Congratulations !!!

    Lovely flight pose, light and eye contact but does look soft despite some fairly marked sharpening artifacts - may be worth redoing the sharpening with a smaller radius and a larger amount. I would clone out the OOF blob LLQ.
