Stuart I like the egret´s pose and the timming but something doesn´t works with the processing job. It seems that the egret has some haloes due to the excesive use of S/H filter or an unadequate unsharpmask, not sure about the reason. I would try to reprocess the image again ;-)

I like the wing position and dangling feet and wish for a lower angle and a bit more head turn toward you.
