    Hola Juan Carlos,

Que linda foto. Me encanta el detalle, la iluminación que destaca los colores del plumaje y la simpleza del fondo que aisla el ave. Felicitaciones.

Beautiful picture. I love the detail, the lightning brings out the colors and the simplicity of the background which isolates the bird.

    Regards,

    Roberto

Yes the branch is 'bright' but that can easily be rectified in PS. Lovely soft morning light brings out the irridiscent colours beautifully - very good use of depth of field has also given a great out of focus, graduated BG. - or is it an artificial BG? Either way it works really well.

The light has brought out the colours in this excellently. Great comp and pose captured here.

Beautiful bird, I like the colors, iridescence, eye contact and BG. The bright perch has been mentioned.

In fact that is the natural color of the BG, may be in the future I will be practicing with ''painted'' BGs. Thanks for your input.

Hola, Juan Carlos. Nice shot of this beauty. The light is a bit harsh, but I know that can be hard to avoid here once the sun comes up. I would stick to natural backgrounds for this type of shot and just really be careful in adjusting your shooting angle to get the background you want. The painted backgrounds or other artificial backgrounds are really only necessary when doing hummingbirds at multi-flash setups.

    Saludos,
    Greg
