    Todd,
It seems the light was very low. I like the pose. I would have preferred a bit of movement to the left to avoid the snow. However, it is always easier said than done. The hair on the back creates a nice pattern.

Very good detail and lovely pose Todd. I like being able to see some of the environment and I think a move to the left might have perhaps eliminated the snow as it draws the eye somewhat. Still a wonderful captured moment and excellent exposure. Thanks for sharing.

Like it a lot Got lots of detail in the dark areas, sweet setting and great pose. Agree on the snow point but a fine image as presented, love the mood !!

Fine image with great detail.. Moose look pretty mangey this time of year. The bright snow in the BG is a bit of a distraction..

Like the grass, the pose (nice eye contact), and the forest BG. Have to agree about the snow. Turned out well for those settings.

What a great wildlife image...you really caught a special moment. I do wish there were less canvas on the left and more on the right, helping to get rid of some of that snow. As the others said, it is still a fine image overall. Thanks so much for sharing this!
