    Catbird Bathing

I set up a feeding / watering station in my backyard next to my shed. I then use the shed for a blind. I get a variety of birds that come to feed, drink and bathe. This Catbird came to drink decided to splash and then soak. As you can see he has let down all his feathers just soaking up the moisture.

Welcome to BPN, Robert! Nice first post. The pose, BG and behavior look great. I find the bird bath overpowering, though.

    Very nice, Robert. Welcome!
I agree, the bird bath is overpowering. I might experiment with some different crops--maybe trying more room to the right and less on the left?
Looking forward to more from you!

Big welcome to BPN, Robert. Lovely soft light and BG. Focus and DOF spot on. Is it possible to set up a natural perch for the birds to use when coming/going from the bird bath?
