Beautiful catch and great action. I like the dirt on him and the dust flying.

Very cool capture, the pose is great. The blacks look blocked on my monitor.

On my monitor (HP LP2465) the only blocked up blacks is the shadowed area under the rear leg????

There are more areas on my monitor, including parts of the neck. I also checked the histogram to make sure I don't talk nonsense. :)

Beautiful animal caught in a great moment. Blocked blacks or not I would love to have this image in my files.

    Dale,
Lovely pose and action. The vertical crop works. I too can find the clipped blacks.

Darker areas aside, this is a remarkable image for several reasons to me. I like the mane all tossed up and the rearing front legs with hooves extended. The dust flying around is a real plus too. I can make out a few tense muscles on the back hind quarters, which adds to this image. Good background light and a fine job exposure wise. The minor black ares are not too distracting to me. It has a real wild feel to my eye. Thanks for the share.

Great pose. Flying mane and hoove positions add to the action.
