denise, you had some nice light, but it was from the side and missed part of the eye and the back of the head. and i think you might need some bail money. the HAP will be around soon and will be interesting to see if you get a ticket!!! love the detail in the bird.
Hi Lady Denise...I like the base composition...love the baby blue sky...might want to crop tighter, and yes, you need to watch the sun angle...:):cool:
Denise the head angle is questionable because of the light In this instance having the perfect head angle would have made it worse since you were off light angle and would have made the shadows on the face worse.
With light from your back the entire bird would have been lit with no shadows. I understand shadows are needed for making sharp images (local contrast) but not when they run in large areas. btw both are very similar in light angle first might be better?
