    “Mr. Jay”

This little guy came to visit one afternoon in my Pops garden, this past summer. He was painted with a Nikon D200, using a Nikkor AF-S 300mm f/4 D IF-ED lens with a Nikkor 1.4 T/C.

    Image solution:
focal length @ 420mm / exposure mode @ aperture priority / in camera matrix metering / ISO @ 320 / 1/125sec. - f/5.6 / white balance @ auto / AF - mode @ dynamic range, auto - continuous / color space @ sRGB / lighting solution - speedlight, set to manual at ¼ lumen burst, with attached diffuser screen for wide dispersal pattern / exposure comp @ -0.7EV / tone comp @ +1 degree / hue adjustment @ +2 degrees / saturation factor @ +2 degrees / support platform - no tripod, hand held, braced against side of the house /

    Comments greatly appreciated...

    Hi Gus,
Good looking bird, nice perch and beautiful back ground. My only suggestion is to run some noise reduction in the back ground.

Good one Gus, I like the little bit of ha. Real nice bg. It does feel a bit tight around the tail. Colours are real nice.

Love the BG colors, nice colors on the Jay too. Feather tips and around the eyes (whites) look a bit hot.
