    Default Pine Siskin

Backyard feeder set-up + blind. Just a simple dogwood perch...but I was happy to see this species for the first time in a few years. At first I almost didn't notice it feeding among the many, many goldfinches. Time to go back into the woods in search of prettier perches:cool: BG is brighlty sunlit leafless hardwood forest.

    Hi Daniel.
I like this image for several reasons, one is the good sharpness you got here as well as the alert pose of this little guy. I only find your perch a bit dark for the compo. The perch texture is good though.

Nice sharp capture. I like the soft background colors. You must be having much nicer weather than we are in Seattle...

Great find and details. I hope they will hang around for a while since I'm not too crazy about the perch. :)

Very nice Dan, I don't mind the perch at all and would be ecstatic to have this in my files

Pin sharp, with lovely complimentary colours in the BG.
