From last years winter in Yellowstone IPT.. I was waist deep in snow working a couple of beautiful bulls when this one decides to walk right at me.. He kept getting to close for the focal length lens I was using... I chose the 600mm lens to keep a good working distance from the bulls so not to stress them during winter when they need all the calories they can muster. Mature bulls loose a lot of weight during the rut in Sept/Oct and during a bad winter mortality can be high from starvation.....
