    not enough head, imo, but just enough to make it worth a look!

    Agree with your self critique Ray. It's got some strong elements, but not quite enough eye contact.

    I like the 'suspicious' look, details and BG. Seeing more of the head would have been nice but I like it as is.

    Default Head is perfect

    The thing that makes this image memorable, IMHO, is exactly the concealment of the head and the eye just peeking around the edge of the wing. There is plenty of eye contact so that we know the bird is looking directly at us, with caution and suspicion. Far from being a flaw, it is the strongest part of the image.

    There's the flight shot! I'm liking the brown tones in the BG. I also agree with the eye contact nit.

    i am glad you liked this Bill, I am one to do things a little different, and when I saw this on my camera monitor, I had a feeling it would be cool.... just barely enough eye!

    I like it, more head/eye would be nice, but I still like it.
