Last month I hosted a very sandy workshop in the East of England, photographing seals. While the first day was domintated by a VERY dense fog, the sunday turned out lovely with beautiful dramatic weather and many young seals at the beach. I believe all workshop participants were able to bring loads of nice images home which they will be able to enjoy after getting rid of all that sand.
The circle is round...(aren't they always :D... what I meant to say: we've come full circle). I started last year with seals and my last series of 2008 were seals again. Last year turned out to be a very successful one. But most importantly it was a year full of great interactions with spectacular wildlife!
I wish you guys all the best for this new year and look forward sharing new adventures with you guys through BPN. Cheers!
Jasper,
This is spectacular action. Low angle gives a unique perspective. I like the composition. The saliva in the mouth makes it over the top for me.
Cheers,

hahaha it is nice to see that also you take certain comments to hart (also an expression in English) and change them around ;):D
Gorgeous photo, again a good eye zooming in on the action here, love the open beak of the little one, the colours, and the touch of sand clouds on the ground.
Excellent shot!

Great interaction and I like the tightness of the composition. You have had a fantastic year judging by your pictures :) Hope we can meet you in April!
What a sweet , special moment you captured in this image Jasper. You can feel the tenderness between parent and baby. Love it !!! Really like the crop you chose for this one Jasper.
