Perhaps my head is in the clouds. I tried exposing for the high lights one morning waiting for some birds. 50D, 400mm at 1/8000, f/11, ISO800, Manual, 1 shot AF. Not sure if the pano crop is a good idea or not. Sun was ULC so a bit of a hot spot was left.

    Hi Dave,
I like the capture...for my taste, I would lighten it a bit, its a wee bit on the dark side...

    Looks good Dave

Would try obtaining more tonal range while keeping the mood !!! On the top side if you include any significant areas like the strong highlight remember to include it entirely !! Love the idea !!

Lots of originality in your shot Dave. Agree with Gus, maybe a little lighter.

    Hi Dave:

Honest shot in your neighbourhood, after 42 days in a row dumping their load of rain in `60, I high tailed to MB, Calif. But that's why the slogan ~ "Beautiful B. C." because of the rain keeping everything growing big and beautiful.

    I like the dramatic.

    Thanks for sharing

    Uncle Gus
