Taken this afternoon in Ft. Myers. Had a bunch of opportunities with these 2 but this may be my favorite wing position. Nest was on a platform.......which was visible just below the twigs. Canon Mark 3 with the Sigma 300-800mm at 687mm for 1/2500 of a second at f8 and ISO 640. Manually focused on osprey in nest. 80% full frame.

    Hi Roman,

Good capture. Strong contrast but very nice wings position and landing gear!

Roman you are always in the right place at the right time:) . Can wait to see what you capture on the west side. Wonderful timing and beautiful exposure detail and comp. It was such fun to meet you and wish you and your family a awesome time on the west coast.

Roman, It was very nice meeting you at Wako Sunday AM. I'm sorry I didn't stick around longer. I loved your image of the Great Blue couple. Either you or the birds (or both) have mating on their minds from the look of your images. Enjoy the rest of your stay in Florida.
