A nicely posed, healthy looking buck.
Really nice light, well composed, nice pose from the buck.. Only thing I may have done was to take the image from a lower angle, kneel down. I prefer to photography wildlife from below the animals eye level whenever possible...
Jude,
I too feel that a lower angle would have been preferable. Ofcourse, at times it becomes difficult to photograph from a lower angle. However, it is always preferable. One of the extra benefits from photographing an animal at eye level is also the uniformly diffused background that you get. The lighting nicely brings out the shape of the buck. I like the composition and the shadow adds to the image.

Very nice pose and nice buck. The lighting here really adds depth to this image. I like it alot.

Guys,
I was on a hill shooting this guy. I did try to get closer to the ground but I didn't have a whole bunch of time. I do have other shots but liked the composition in this one much better than most of the others.
Thanks for the comments and suggestions!!
