Julie Kenward's comment on my previous thread has reminded me of this image.
A brave Silver-washed Fritillary (Argynnis paphia) missing one antenna.
I loved the reflective quality of the flower on this one.

Bogdan, it's beautiful! Gosh, you have some sweet light there in Romania! I especially like the angle of the BF on the flower...he looks like he's preparing for take off. I also love the way the light is coming up from behind him - giving those little hairs between his antennae a nice glow!
Hi Bogdan, nice detail on the butterfly, great BG and nice flower. I'm wondering if the butterfly would benefit from a little increase in contrast. Look forward to seeing more of your butterflies.
Well done, Bodgan. Too bad about the missing antenna. Still a beautiful image. Sharp. Great background. If anything I might wish to see a little more flower but that's a small thing.
