I like the light, composition and BG and only wish there were more bill/wing separation. I think your recent images have improved a lot!
Nice one Rick! Love the white on green! I'd like to see the wings up or down to provide separation from the head.

Apart from the wing/bill seperation issue (which I agree with) this is quite a dynamic image. Great looking BG, and the comp is bang on! I'd may be tempted to darken the whitish patches near the egret.
As above plus I love the way the darker areas frame the bird.
