    Like the angle and the nice sky. I think the bird is a little dark and would have benefited from some additional + EC. Some Shadows/Highlights work may help. I'd also move the bird to the left and add some canvas on the right.

    I agree with Doug's comments about more +EC. It would have given better shadow detail but may have cost you some of that nice cloud in the BG. Shadows/Highlights is an option. A reversed S-curve in curves would also lighten the darks and keep sky detail.

    Nice details and eye contact. Another vote for more details in the shadows.
