I've been going over my photos from my November trip to Central Florida and came across this one from Ding Darling NWR. I really like the colours and textures of the crisp pelican mixed with the abstract blues and greens of the water.

    Canon 50D with Sigma 300 f/2.8 plus Sigma 2x TC, ISO 200, 1/1600s, f/5.6, tripod, PP in LR2.2 and CS4

    Comments and critiques very welcome.

    Cheers!

Nice pose, eye contact, and sharpness. I would boost the saturation of the bird just a little, and maybe add a little canvas up top.

I like the serene mood, details and composition. The BG looks a bit noisy and yes to a bit more saturation of the bird (but not the water).
