I haven't posted anything in a few months as I've been working as a photojournalist and haven't had a lot of time for wildlife photography although thankfully I'm slowly getting back into it. I always enjoyed it more than photojournalism but the PJ work pays the bills (for now). Anyways, here's one from the summer til I can get back out into the field.

    Camera:Olympus E1
    Lens:Sigma 50-500mm@228mm
    ISO:1600
    Exposure: F/6.3, 1/40s

I think I could have given the composition a bit more "breathing room" and I wish the eye was a bit sharper. Tell me what you guys think.
    Thanks,
    Paul

    Paul,
I understand how it feels when you are away from wildlife photography. However, we have to do those extra stuff to pay for our passion.

I would have loved it more if it were parallel to the focal plane. The right side of the image is bright and takes the attention away from the eye. There is also a blue portion at the bottom right corner. A bit more brightness and cropping from the left would improve the image.
    Cheers,

Love the colors, head turn would have been nice. Just need to find someone to let him know that;).
