    Hi Eric

I like how you got the lighthouse to the side a bit Would probably go a little more and corp some from the bottom. It will show the lighthouse bigger in frame an give you better proportion for the dunes at a third.

PS wise you might want to lighten the image some A good start is to use levels and hold the command (alt on PC) while dragging the slider. Will help you set the white/black point, a good starting point to adjust. After you are comfortable curves are they key and btw in CS4 could not be easier !!!

    Hi Eric,
Lighting looks a bit harsh. Al mentioned a few other points. Setting white/point black point is a great tool to bring out the most contrast in your images. Great trick.

MUCH better Eric, good job! For some reason the LH looks like it might need just a bit of CCW rotation, just a smige

    Hi Eric:

Nice shot & composition, took Nonda's suggestion, gave it a bit of CCW, color editing, and a smidge of USM.

If you were using PS, I would of listed the steps I used.

Did you see this post for Free Corel Paint Shop Pro X (Great for 1/2 price upgrade to X2 Ultimate)
    http://www.birdphotographers.net/forums/showthread.php?t=27309

The beauty of the free Corel PSP is that you can then buy X2 Ultimate upgrade at half price (about $50), and it has about $200 worth of other programs, some that can be used as plug-ins with PS. Look here for X2 Ultimate features. Plus it comes with 50 picture frames and 75 free ones you can download. Also has lots of tubes (Define Brushes) 90% of Stationery Gurus have used PSP for years doing as many incredible things, some better then PS Gurus. Their free animation program is fantastic and easy to use. Plus there are tons of tutorials (FREE) available on the web.

    Thanks for sharing.
