I am going semi nuts going into Photomatix trying to figure it out a little more in detail and trying the different methods (clear as mud at this point):), so I thought I would post this as it looks like I won't get around to another HDR tonight.

Underexposed by 2 stops, tried to bring it back in PS.

Full Frame, moved the bird around a little in content aware.
Thanks for looking and might just take a break from it all and look at all the great new posts!!!

It looks like everything is perfect Jackie. I really like how you have handled all the different shades/tones of grey/white/black. Nice and alive. Great detail.

    Hi Jackie,
I like the composition, image and capture...I took the liberty in adding just a tad of canvas to the right of the frame to balance it out just a tad. also lightened the wings a little more and selective sharpened the eye and the feather contour...see if you like it...

I like it jackie All you need is the wings on the full down stroke ... does make a difference thats why we like the higher frame cameras, makes coming up with a perfect one easier !!

Image is very sharp, well expose, made before the bird got to your position and love that bg !!! Very fine and like it a lot !!! ..... good luck with the HDRs :)

Nice one Jackie! Gulls are fun, great BIF practice birds. Good save on the exposure too.

Jackie - like the composition and sharpness; Gus's re-post seems right on.
