    This is the first time I had the chance to photograph these species.
    Friday afternoon just before sunset.

    Hi Adam, Nice photo, very sharp and I like the colours. Boy you are really stretching out that long lense and getting tack sharp pics.

    Very well composed and executed Adams,
    I like the details and superb color rendition...the bird is placed just right in frame and the low capture angle does it for me...you have a good head angle and very sharp eye. the background compliments him very well...a big congrats on this one...I also like the detail, texture and silky mat look on the bill....good show...:cool:

    Hi Dave,
    When i had the 20D I avoided using the 2xtc, since I got the MKIII I like the combo with the 600mm Especially for shore birds and when I have the feet of the lense resting on the ground.

    Lovely Adams,
    Love the exposure, and the colours of the bird and BG. Nothing looks overdone.

    Well done Adams I like how you got the ISO up for some reasonable shutter speed Image is sharp and well exposed, low angle just makes it form me !!! Big Congrats !!!
