    Took this image in my backyard last fall while I was practicing shooting flying Hummers. I liked the result and wondered what you think? D2X,500mm,1.4X, 1/1000 @ f/5.6.

    The exposure and sharpness look good with this image. The composition could use a little more room for the tail. I think the perch makes it hard to compose the image as there is enough in front OOF to draw your attention away. If hummers are regulars to where you shoot, then I'd suggest attaching a natural perch to what you have here or even use some flowers to attract them. Then you could shoot both the flight shots.....and the perched shots.
