    This must look even better at 100% on the screen. I like the pose, details, exposure control and eye contact and might lighten the bird's left eye.

    Really great pose and well framed, though a little tight. Perhaps I am just a fan of a full view. I think seeing the entire wing spread would be also beautiful in this instance. For me personally, the most commendable part of your post is your honesty about bait use. It sure worked a treat for this owl! :) Were you using a hide too or just out in the open? Well done, very well done.

    Very well exposed, and those eyes stand out nicely against the white plumage. Great image.

    Hi Akos, we were just in an open field, I didn't bring the bait, but there others that did. The owls seemed very hungry indeed and didn't waste any time going for the food.
