Even though this is an artificial tree, Sophie doesn't believe it, and again this Christmas, she has taken up Tree Sitting in protest to the carnage of all green things:D:D

    Cheers

Yep, that reminds me of my Christmases with cats! I hope you've got a counter-weight on the other side of the tree, Bruce!

Wonder what she will do when the tree is gone? Probably thinking she won :)

My Leo tried this but he must be the only cat who is scared of climbing. The one time he succeeded he had to be rescued...now he contents himself with sitting under the tree - it does need guarding you know...

That is so funny! Does she ever get hurt climbing thru the tree w/ all the wires?

No, and it's coming down today and back in the box until next year. She's only been observed in the tree twice. Once on the 2nd, and again this morning. She left it alone before that, and left it alone entirely last season. The tree is very sturdy - plenty strong to take all her weight on one side without toppling, and all the lights are low voltage, so they aren't hot to the touch. Still, it's not something I wish not to continue next year. I hope Sophie will consider my wishes, but in the final analysis, it's up to her - everything is all up to her!!!:D:D
