Good lighting and texture in the wings. The clenched talons add to the emotion of the photo. I would have prefered to have the bird flying slightly towards you rather than somewhat away from you. This would have given you a better head angle and eye contact which would strengthen the compositon. The whites in the neck seem to be overexposed. You can probably recover them by going back to the original raw file.

Hi Filemon, I agree with the other, stunning wing detail, beautiful colours and lovely sky colour, the whites in the neck do seem hot.
