i really like the bg color in this image! Beautiful whites and wonderful detail in the stump. A very different view/pose from the typical we see of these birds.

The stump looks like it is leaning one direction, and the bird is counter-balancing in the other direction---so how would you rotate the image??? lol

Really, really pretty, love the Bg, eye catching image Kathy!

I think it might need a bit of CW rotation?

Beautifully exposed and lovely pose. Just a thought, to crop a little more to make the bird bigger in the frame Kathy???

A beautiful shot, beautifully composed. Nice work! If the angle of the stump/reflection bothers you, it could be copied to a new layer and rotated a little. The texture of the stump makes it easy to blend in the new layer.

At first I thought I was seeing things--love the animation. Will give it a try.
Thanks everyone--I did not notice the tilt!

    Kathy:,

Great capture, like it as shot because when I look at great job David did in his GIF, the quick comparison gives more impact with post not straight up and down.

    Thanks for sharing

Kinda spooky, huh? The simplest fix might be to rotate the whole image, leveling the waterline at the bottom of the stump.
