    Default Northern Harrier

    Captured this Northern Harrier at Crown Hill Park in Colorado. At least I believe it is a female harrier after doing a little research. Please correct me if I am wrong. I cropped quite alot so as not to disturb her feeding. Thanks for looking.

    Nice positioning to use the light. Interesting behaviour but angled away posture is hurting the image. Crop has made noise a bit more obvious. Post and barbed wire not too photogenic but realistic of the habitat. Do you know what was being devoured?

    Very sharp image and a great timing. I would add another round of USM to the head and I am wondering if you have another image from this series with a more neat eye contact/head turn. The perch is not the best but we have to accept than that kind of perchs are very commonly used by birds and are part of their natural habitat. Very nice BG by the way
