    Yes, this is quite lovely s noted above. In addition, I love the soft light and the way that the shape of the bird is very similar to the shape of the two cones.

    This is lovely, Caroline. It's all been said already but this image has a lovely feel to it. The little bit of snow on the bill is the icing on the cake for me.

    Superb image Caroline, I wouldn´t change a single pixel in this file. I love it!. The BG is creamy, soft and outstanding and the perch/bird are rendered like in 3D. Fantastic light, pose and eye contact. The snow on the beak and the blurred snowflakes floating in the air are the ice on the cake. Big congratulations for a very good image. Can´t wait to see the next ;-)

    Like the others have mentioned the soft light, super detail, great bg and colours combined with a lovely composition can only equal a supberb shot. Very nice. Lots to look at and nothing out of whack.
