    I was in Toronto and came across a cemetery covered in snow. This statue caught my eye sitting on a headstone covered by the snow. I photographed this image with my Canon 40D. ISO 200, f/4.0, 1/1600 sec, EF24-105 f/4L, 32mm, Pattern Metering, Auto Exposure, Auto WB, No Flash. Gave the background an edgy kind of feel, upped the saturation and desaturated the statue. Comments welcome.

    Richard, I like the BG I think it looks like good. The snow adds interest.Nice shot-well done!

    love the snow around the base. adds a nice touch! like what you did with the bg too. definitely conveys a mood.

    I like the feel to this one Mr. Waas.
    The background makes it for me. Food for thought...The next time you have the opportunity to photograph in a cemetery again; try doing this in a zoom blur, and see how dramatic you can get...:D:cool: I guarantee it will blow your mind...:)
