    Bumped into Roman, Paul Marcellini, and David Mills at Flamingo today. We were out there waiting for the American Kestral and the Barn Owl to appear ....

    I got some nice ones of the kestral. It was too dark for any decent owl shots; save trying to track it in flight with a 500 in low light ....

    The owls come out after sunset and not much of a chance to grab one ..... unless your camera has ISO 25,600 and that would only get you blurs !!!

    What's proper long lens technique from a kayak? It's hard enough to compose when the boat is rocking at 400mm, I don't want to think about 800.
