    Nice Stuart, the foot drag and the light is soft, well mostly.

    Too bad the bird was not flying more towards you and for the contrasty spot on the wing.

    I would darken the bright top half of the frame and try to darken the hot area of the wing.

    I like the pose and would sharpen the head a bit more.
