I found this guy doing a dance on the railing of the Flight Deck right about noon. No one else was around. Taken November 30, 2007.

Nice fluffy fellow, a bit tight in the frame, It could use a bit more of sharpening around the bill and face. Great Bosque BG :)

Wow Dan, excellent light for noon! Great details and tones in the BG are nice.

Subject is a little large in the frame.

Beautiful detail. Could use a little lightening of the head.

As Fabs said, great BG! It cold be a bit sharper in front and the entire tail would be better if seen. However, I like it a lot.

Guys you are really lucky with birds in Bosque. I cann´t imagine a hawk so cooperative like this one in Spain. If you are lucky, you can spot one of them but just for a second and really far :-)

The colors of this male looks terrific and the Bg is great. Very good low angleand eye contact. I agree with Fabs about a selective sharpening in the face area.
