    This image is from my trip to photograph mulies in November. Caught this buck just before the sun was going down behing the mountains. I shot right through the FG grasses to give the image a soft feel. Gave my new 50D a real workout on this trip with very positve results..

    Great mood and light. I like the veil provided by the OOF vegetation and the rim light on the antlers.

    Love the drop tine and trash on this buck. The background and backlight are killer. I normally don't like oof foreground, but I agree it helps set the mood in this shot.

    Quite the hardware on this guy. Like the light/colors and the fact you kept some detail on the shaded side.

    The lighting in this image is just gorgeous Dale and I very much like the beautiful composition and the dreamy look of this capture. Great work !

    Very nice. Like the warm light and the comp. Like how you kept detail in the deer as well.

    Love the light and the mood. Without the foreground, it would have been a straight forward image. Nice work.
