    I had posted the original straight file of this white rose previously. I revisited the file to add a PS radial zoom blur. So where can I improve? Is the center clear area too large?

    I like it! It does have a definite division between the blurred and non-blurred and you might want to play with that some more (maybe go one more layer in?) but I like it as presented, Dave.

    Something else you might try is to put it into the liquify filter and move the blurred areas around a bit so they snake around a bit. Up to you but might be fun to try!

    Thanks Julie and Denise. Like the forum says " out of the box", and that's just where I am (out of my box). It's fun to experiment in new areas and I appreciate your honest and helpful comments. I plan on fiddling with this shot, but was pleased with where I am so far. I'm having fun and learning more and more as I experiment.
