Default A different kind of egret

This is one of my early shots of birds, when my knowledge and technique were quite limited.
The original frame is an underexposed white bird against cloudy skies.

I've brightened the whole image, used Render/Lighting effects/Omni in Photoshop and selectively applied a warm filter.
    Hope you like it.

I've uploaded the file through Imageshack, because the 'Manage attachments' is missing.
If that is due to posts/day/section rules I apologize and will delete this thread.

Bogdan, I like the color tones on this very much-your composition is lovely also!

This is quite a nice effect. Looks like a veiled sun behind the bird. I like your placement of the bird in the space.

Fabulous PS work! Wow, did you nail this one. I can't wait to see what Fabs thinks of it. For manufactured lighting it really works!

    Thank you all very much.
This was really out of the box for me!
But ... I'm looking forward to redo this kind of shot, this time with proper technique and a more refined approach.
I find an inherent delicacy and grace in egrets. This fascinates me and pushes me forward in creating better and more expressive images of them.

This picture is an absolute homerun! Really nice work, and a sure keeper!
