    love the pose eric! would try to include the feet in a case like this so if you have them in the original would include and add some space up top! another round of sharpening would be really nice too. nice job!!

    Hi Eric,
    I agree with Doctor Davis,
    I would like to see the dark background a little lighter, and the white oof blotches toned down a bit...:cool:

    Nice one Eric. You must have been nice and close. The only suggestion I have to include the feet and perhaps take more advantage of the zoom telephoto would be to zoom out a bit; use a slightly lower focal length. Good shot with that shutter speed and ISO. Dave

    Hi Eric When getting this close dof is minimal. Placing the focus point on the eye is important, I think the base of the bill is the sharpest part of the image.

    Would also crop it tight. When not including the entire bird is best to make it look deliberate. Cut not clip !!!
