1st Killdeer
During a recent business trip out to California I took the opportunity to take some photographs. While we get plenty of Killdeer in Pennsylvania I'm never able to get anywhere near as close to one as I did in CA. The shot was taken at Malibu Lagoon in nice evening light.

I like it Mike Good head angle, soft light and very sharp !!! Might want to brighten just a bit and go slightly tighter.
If you were able, taking a couple of steps to the left would have placed you on perfect sun angle and moved the seaweed away from the bird a bit. Do like it a lot as presented !!! Fine image !!
