WOW! Isn't that something else. it looks like the bottom jaw is displaced. Good one Maurice. I am not sure how a vertical crop would look, but no matter what. You captured a moment.

    Hi Maurice,
I like this action capture. The only thing that I would modify is to get rid of the oof grass in the foreground which is distracting, my eye keeps going there...nice capture...congrats...

gus brought out some good points. will add that i would have liked to see more room below for the virtual feet. and as cool as the action is, i'd really like to see a little bit of the bird's eye. thanks for sharing!!

He is a little dead center - you might consider cropping just a slice off the right to get him closer to the ROT's position. That is one monstrously lucky image and you were well prepared for it! Your exposure is very nice - good details in the blacks - and I love that the OOF foreground is kept to a minimum.

    Nicely done!

Oh, Man .... is he gonna have a lump in his throat!!!

You were certainly in the right place at the right time. Did you try to see what it would look like as a vertical?

    Cheers,
    Sue

    Hi Maurice

I like the action Not sure if you were zoomed all the way out but do try to close is on the most compelling part of the image which is the feeding !!

Those guys do move their heads around when working the fish and you should move around for a good angle, seeing the bird's eye makes a big different. Neat as presented Not sure how he is trying to swallow the fish? Was the beak through? Looks like he is having a tough time !!! I like it !!

btw as taken would go vertical like Sue suggested in a heartbeat !!!
