    This is my first time using the 1D Mark III. The lens was a 100-400L IS

    Hello John,

    I rather see a lower angle wich it would of helped you remove the head from the wings and a sharper image.

    Very nice action in this image . A lower angle as already mentioned would be more desirable and the crooping is a little tight at the bottom. Thanks for sharing !

    I like the pose in this one. In addition to the other comments, I'm wondering why did you use f/18?

    Thank you for all the comments. I couldn't get any lower because it happened so quickly that it was more of a grab shot that I happen to like than a carefully planned photograph. Axel, that is also why I ended up using F 18
