Fantastic low angle and straight-on walking pose. The details on the plumage look great. I would explore lightening the catchlight in the eyes, especially the one to our right. Happy New year to yout oo Tony (we still have 17 hours to go!!)

Happy new year Tony. Here we are still on 2008 so, technically, I am writing from the past to a person in a different year. Hope everything works fine in the future :D:D:p
Superb low angle and composition, simple but very effective. I like a lot this image and I only thing about a way to improve and that is to increasing the saturation of the blues/reds in the face of the fowl. Very well done and see you here when I arrive to 2009

Great low angle and nice DOF. I like the raised foot. Agree about boosting saturation in the head. Might remove the rust-colored spot on the bottom left of the image. Thanks for all your hard work Tony!

I really like the composition and the pose on the bird. The raised foot makes it even better. Happy New Year Tony!

    Hi Tony

You did extremely well here - I know how quickly these guys walk. To get the head sharp and body sharp is outstanding, and the low perspective is spot-on. The background is also beautifully OOF. A very well done from me!
