Default Motif: Holiday Spirit - "New Years Resolution"

Motif: Holiday Spirit – “New Years Resolution”

Techs: A Circular Polarize filter was used at 75 percent capacity, to tone down the reflections and to give the image a soft, silky, glow on the hearts.

    The image was painted with a Nikon D2x, using a Nikkor AF-S Macro 105mm f/2.8G IF-ED. and a 12mm extension tube.

    Image Solution:
focal length @ 105mm / exposure mode @ aperture priority / 1/125sec. - f/4 / exposure comp @ -0.3EV / ISO @ 200 / white balance @ manual, custom profile using an expo disk for color calibration. / AF - mode @ manual / metering mode - combination of in camera matrix metering, and hand held spot meter, sampling four anchor points, for balanced light distribution. / color space @ sRGB / lighting solution - Nikon R1C1 wireless close up speedlight system; both light units set to 1/4 lumen burst with a wide dispersal pattern grid and diffuser units attached. / additional diffuser panels were positioned from the rear and from the sides to soften the light burst from the speedlights / tone comp @ +1 degree / hue adjustment @ +0 degrees / saturation factor @ +1 degrees / support platform – tripod assist, with macro focusing rail, and a cable trigger release /

I think Harold it may be "shoot from the heart", but that is just a guess. Would you confirm or deny Gus???:) Anyways Happy NY Gus and thanks for all of your wonderful critiques and inspiring shots.
