    took this image into CNX2 and made two duplicates of which i took one to +2EV and the other to -2EV and then blended the three in Photomatix. if i didnt say it enough yesterday, I Love this program!! after the conversion i took it back into CNX2 and worked on the sky a little to make it look realistic and sharpened.

    Nice one Harold. The detail in the tree bark caught my eye right off, and the soft colours. Now you've really got me interested in HDR's!

    This looks so real. I don't know how to describe it any other way. The colours look so natural. I am chomping at the bit Harold to try!!

    Hi Harold;

    Son of a gun, that's one beautiful picture, great dof, and the complete package is stunning.

    You have had a lot of great photos, but IMHO, this one takes the cake, and is the way to go out of 2008 with flying colours.

    Thanks for sharing this beauty.

    Default pseudo HDR

    OK, so I'm starting to get the HDR bug now after seeing your efforts. This one is beautiful. Even without the HDR effect, I like the contrast of the sticks, etc in the water to the smoothness farther out. Then the vertical trees and the angle of the bridge give other neat textures and eye appeal. Great job!

    Excellent Harold !!! It is a neat program and very addictive !!!

    I like the framing very much and particularly the center placement for the pier.
