    Taken today, very windy, but at least the sun was out (for a change).

    Art-it's a personal thing but the steep angle really takes aways from this image. The eyes looking down help a bit but the body is so distorted from the angle that it just doesn't look right. I sympathasize - these gorgeous owls don;t like to stay at eye level to hunt.

    Great find and eye contact. A lower angle would have been great, but you probably would need a longer lens to be able to back up a few steps. I might sharpen the eyes a bit more. This species is still pretty high up on my wish list.

    Good points by Axel and Jeff. In addition I would add that I wish both eyes were more evenly illuminated. Thanks for posting!
