    Default Snowy flash blur



    Took this at Bolsa Chica on Sunday.

    Canon 1-DMk2n with 500F4 and a 1.4tc with 580 Flash with better beamer. AV mode, ISO 320, F5.6 at 1/15 sec.

    I find these type of images difficult at best to like. No offense meant. The dark bands are distracting to me and it appears slightly off angle. I do like the attempt however. Something new is always hard to like however. the whites seem very nice and soft here. Now that I like. :)

    Glenn, This is a very nice image-it may need a slight rotation-These are so hard to do and I think you did a good job w/ it!

    Sweet !!!! Just right for me I like the combination of flash with blur Great effect Might want a slightly different upper bg but a big time keeper in my book !!! Love it !!

    Thanks for all the comments! I decided to fix the angle, and crop a bit tighter.

    There's something beautifully eery about this one. I don't normally like blurs that much but this one holds my interest, I must say.

    There are two piece of grass just to the side of the back wing (on the right side) that stick out more than the others. I'd try blurring those down a bit and then I'd say print it!
