    I like the mood and colors in this one. Does it need a bit CW rotation? It would be even better without any overlap.

    Yes, it does need CW rotation. Even if the shoreline was naturally like this it tricks the eye too much. I would crop either half the water out, and/or about 2/3 of the space above the birds. Nice vision in seeing this, I like the mood of it alot...
