I had been in two minds if this is an acceptable composition. In this case the overall landscape was not that exciting and I decided to keep just the water as background. I thought the pano mode would provide a better perspective with this flock flying out of the frame. Your comments and feedback would be appriciated.

    Settings were -

    Hi Indranil,
I like the capture, on this pano crop, you need to add just a tad of canvas to the top of the frame to give the birds more room. also need to open up the blacks to see if you can bring out more of the details in the wings, boost the contrast and saturation by 2 percent and see if that presents better to you...

Hi Indranil, I don't think I have ever seen this many cormorants, so tightly packed all flying off together before. Good one. Just adding to Gus's comment about space to the top, perhaps some to left also would geive a bit of room for birds to fly into. Dave

i have to say that the repost does present a lot better! would like to see a little better separation of the birds. some parts of it just look like a big mess of wings and such. good that you got them flying towards you though!

I like this shot Indranil with sort of organized chaos:), and your repost looks great with more room. I am wondering if it would look even better with the two foremost birds gone and more room to fly in to. Just a thought!
