    too bad it is a little soft... next time!

    Good reflexes to frame and catch this, Ray. Side lighting shows off the belly and tail OK but wings are suffering. Image looks soft but oversharpened if that makes sense (nothing looks really sharp but prominent sharpening artifacts). BG could use some NR - I suspect this was a significant crop.

    Great timing to catch a very fast bird. Too bad about the harsh lighting conditions. I think the big crop hurts it as well.
